2024-PRESENT – Refugio County Treasurer. As treasurer, I’m responsible for receiving and depositing all county revenues, overseeing all county bank accounts, disbursing funds upon order of the commissioners court approval, keeping records of receipts and expenditures, reconciling all bank statements, prepare payroll, submitting monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports. I am also the Human Resource officer. I take care of employee benefits, risk manager, Insurance coordinator, FMLA Laws, Workers' Compensation Laws, Unemployment Laws, Labor Laws, and County policies. I budget the salaries at budget time. During the past year I’ve been working on moving the office to start keeping digital records, and soon I will be implementing a new time system.

2019-2024 – Assistant Auditor at Refugio County Auditor’s office. I went from contract labor from TWC to this full-time position. My main job function is to process payables for commissioner’s court and weekly payments. I also help with purchasing, I also tracked labor, payroll, and purchases to reconcile projects to submit to FEMA, other grants and insurance. And many other job functions to help in other areas, as collect & input W9’s, process 1099’s, collect certificates of liabilities, track inventory and file and keep all organized.

2018-2019 –Texas Workforce contract labor Refugio County collecting data for FEMA projects and creating spreadsheets to submit to FEMA. Most of my job functions consist of tracking labor, payroll, purchases and help reconcile on all projects to submit to FEMA and insurance. I had to learn the County Accounting software to find invoices and checks paid to projects and to read and print account ledgers for each department. I organized and maintain job files for filing both paper copies and electronically to keep for records.

2018-2019 – Part time secretary at First Baptist Church of Woodsboro

2010-2017 - Beeville Publishing Company Creating newspaper and online advertisements, train new employees, help with IT, upload web site information, build websites, assist and train on software and manage new projects, track deadlines, work without-sourced printing companies, layout and design, create and redraw logos, customer service, create workflow to digital workflow.
